How To Maintain The Brass Padlock

　　1. Don't use lubricants casually

　　Some friends like to put some lubricating oil into the keyhole when the brass padlock is astringent or tight. In this way, the brass padlock may be smooth all over immediately, but because the oil tends to stick to the ash, the keyhole will become smoother in the future. It is easy to accumulate dust and form greasy putty, which makes the brass padlock more prone to failure.

　　The correct solution: sharpen some broken pencils or broken candles, blow them into the lock cylinder through a thin tube, and then insert the key and turn it several times.

　　2. Don't forcefully twist the key to open the door

　　Sometimes, due to the gravity of the door leaf or the door hinge, the door leaf sinks, and the door is locked or not opened smoothly. At this time, it is very difficult to open and lock the door with the key. At this time, do not twist the key forcibly, so as not to break the key and increase trouble.

　　The correct solution: you should check the reason first. If the door leaf sinks due to a loose leaf, fix the loose leaf with screws. If the door frame is deformed or the reason is irreversible, you can start with the door frame and expand the bolt accordingly, so that the brass padlock can open and close the door smoothly.
